A message from our Senior Pastor, Nelson Jones

Dear Friend,

I want to thank you for your interest in People’s Church. People’s is a church where people matter because people matter to God and that is our message to you today. “You Matter to God and Us.”

Here at People's, we'll make sure the first face you see when you approach the church has a smile on it.  Whether you are finding a parking space or looking for childcare, a volunteer will be nearby to help you get where you need to go.

Don't be concerned with what you are wearing.  We're more concerned with meeting your real-life needs than with what you wear.  So, dress casually and enjoy our upbeat music.

People's team of teaching pastors gives practical messages that help you deal with real-life issues.  We'll even give you a handy outline that helps you follow the message that day.  What you learn on the weekend, you'll be able to use it during the week.

As the adults and teens are enjoying the service in the main auditorium your children will be enjoying their own energetic, fun-filled, age-appropriate service.  Every weekend newborns right through children in Grade 5 are greeted as they enter their classroom by our warm and friendly team of leaders.  You will hear the energetic sounds of worship as children learn to praise God in their own words.  They'll hear Bible lessons presented in an interactive, creative way so they'll be able to apply those truths to their lives.  Your kids will sense the love of God coming from dedicated adults who are committed to serving Jesus by leading kids.

We know as a parent you need to be sure that your children are in a SAFE learning environment.  And we know that your children are looking for a FUN place to learn.  We've invested a lot to make sure that both of these goals are reached.  You will see that in the classrooms your children meet in and even more in the volunteers who work with your kids.

If it has been a long time since you've been to church or if you have never been to a church before, People's has you in mind.  There's already enough you have to think about when you're visiting a church for the first time.  We hope that getting some of the "stuff" out of the way not only encourages you to join us but also helps you to connect with the hope and encouragement that God has for you.

People's would love to WELCOME you to church this Sunday!
